THIS IS A PROPOSED POSITION.
GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Project Manager in Pensacola, FL.  The Project Manager will be responsible for strategic decision making, communications, complex problem solving, and design and implementation of business process and controls.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementation of business processes and controls;
  • Guide and implement a fully certified Cybersecurity workforce and programs based on extensive knowledge of Navy/DoD IT and Cybersecurity policy and guidance;
  • Implement programs base on knowledge of Enterprise Navy programs (Sailor 2025, IT Transformation, etc..);
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communications skills both internal and external customer relations;
  • Support the program by solving complex problems across a DoD/Navy enterprise IT architecture to ensure compliance and operations are sustainable world-wide;
  • Demonstrate strategic planning insights transforming and consolidating older technology and applications into future technology and architectures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Physical Science is required. A Master's in a related field may be required.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for a Degree;
  • Ten (10) years of industry accepted Information Technology (IT) experience is required;
  • DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required;
  • IAT II / IAM II (CCNA Security or CSA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ce or SSCP, or CISSP, or CASP) certification may be required;
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, organizational management, and business process improvement is required;
  • Knowledge of NETC or MPTE is a plus;
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification may be required.
