Description
Overview

GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Developer/Programmer in Pensacola, FL to provide support to the Central Design Activity (CDA) of the Naval financial community.

Responsibilities
  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections;
  • Provides analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance in all phases of the SDLC with timely delivery against aggressive deadlines;
  • Deep understanding of relational database design and have practical experience with either Oracle to include table structures, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions;
  • Exercises excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills within a team atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required;
  • Associate's degree required, at minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Four (4) years of industry accepted Information Technology (IT) experience required;
  • Must have oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and UNIX skills;
  • IBM WebSphere MQ Series, Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle Performance Tuning skills preferred but not required;
  • Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II certification required.
