• Manages Enterprise RedHat Linux computing infrastructure;
• Assists users in accessing and using IT systems;
• Provides support to IT systems including day to day operation, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices;
• Works with a team of service desk and system administrators;
• Utilizes remedy ticketing system for trouble management documentation;
• Optimizes system operations and resource utilization and performs system capability analysis and planning;
• Researches and recommends/assists in improving system performance;
• Must be able to communicate effectively with remote customers.

• Master’s degree in a technical field plus one (1) year of relative IT administration experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a technical field plus three (3) years of relative IT administration experience; OR Seven (7) years of relative IT administration experience in lieu of a degree;
• At least eight (8) years of experience in server, cybersecurity support, IT, or related field;
• Must possess and have the ability to maintain an active Top-Secret clearance is required;
• Required to have and maintain current IAT Level II Certification (Security+, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program guidelines;
• Experience in UNIX and/or Linux systems is required;
• RedHat Linux system experience is a plus;
• Experience with SPLUNK is strongly desired;
• ArcSight SEIM system administrator experience is preferred;
• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is desired;
• Knowledge of Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) Scans is desired;
• Ability to work flexible 24/7 shift schedules.
