Description
We are looking for a senior level professional to provide property and supply chain management support to our Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) customer in Huntsville, AL.  The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in Department of War (DoW) logistics, property management, and supply chain operations. This role entails comprehensive lifecycle management, control, and strict accountability of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Equipment (GFE) in support of critical DoW operations. This role is pivotal in the execution of TSMO’s property and supply chain requirements that are critical in supporting the U.S. Army’s threat representation activities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains meticulous control and status records for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with government regulations.
  • Utilizes and is proficient in government property accountability systems such as ASTS and DPAS to manage, track, and report on all assets.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed reports, hand receipts, and other required documentation for audits and program reviews.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, manage data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leverages personal expertise in warehouse and supply chain management to oversee the receipt, storage, and disposition of government assets.
  • Leads and performs comprehensive semi-annual and ad-hoc inventories of all government property, ensuring full accountability and reconciling any discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required;
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ direct experience supporting property management, supply chain, and logistics activities within DoW environments is required;
  • DoD issued Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required at start;
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations such as AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1 is required;
  • Proven, hands-on experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) is required;
  • Strong background in conducting physical inventories, managing hand receipts, and investigating property loss is required;
  • Experience successfully migrating property data between different systems of record (e.g., from GCSS-Army to DPAS) or implementing new accountability software is preferred;
  • Experience acting as a primary instructor or subject matter expert (SME) responsible for training staff and cross-functional teams on property accountability procedures and ASTS/DPAS usage is preferred;
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills is required;
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, which may include lifting to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods during inventories, and operating standard warehouse material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is required;
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
