• Supports system design and troubleshooting data collection and delivery methods for real-time Cyber Defense Operations;
• Documents efforts and design outcomes to facilitate deployments to production environments;
• Builds and manages Red Hat Linux computing and clustered infrastructure;
• Builds and maintains systems in accordance with DoD policies and procedures;
• Recommends appropriate actions to monitor and finely tune systems to achieve optimum performance and load balancing;
• Maintains baseline systems in a Lab environment in accordance with DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus eleven (11) years of relevant IT experience; OR Master's degree in a technical field plus nine (9) years of relevant IT experience; OR Associate's degree in a technical field plus thirteen (13) years of relevant IT experience; OR fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree;
• DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required at start;
• Required to have and maintain current IAT Level II certification (Security+, GSEC, or SSCP or CCNA-Security) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program guidelines at start;
• Experience implementing and maintaining Linux/Unix systems and related software is required;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with remote teams, is required;
• Experience with data routing and transformation tools such as Apache NiFI and Apache Kafka is preferred;
• Experience with Clustered File Systems is preferred;
• Experience with Cloud Computing technologies is preferred;
• Experience with vitualization technologies is preferred;
• Experience with big data and data formats such as CSV, CEF, JSON, XML, etc. is preferred.
