Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Program Integrator and Facility Security professional to support the Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC).  This position provides dual-hatted support to the G-2 Security team as a primary focus area, while also supporting the G-6 Business and Digital Transformation initiative where enterprise integration is essential. This unique, matrixed role requires a professional capable of integrating enterprise level processes with security policy analysis and cross‑directorate coordination. The ideal candidate will serve as a central integrator for G‑2, driving alignment and operational effectiveness across multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provides broad DoD security expertise, including experience with security program management, personnel security processes, and the application of DoD and Army security policies;
  • Understands physical security, access control, and inspection readiness, and aligns security workflows that support other cross functioning teams;
  • Coordinates clearance and visit processes, supporting industrial security needs, and assisting with cybersecurity‑related alignment;
  • Identifies security risks across functions and develop clear security training, SOPs, and program documentation;
  • Demonstrates strong communication, time‑management, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance dual responsibilities, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high‑quality, integrated support to both directorates;
  • Develops and administers security programs and procedures;
  • Reviews and implements federal security regulations that apply to operations;
  • Obtains rulings, approvals, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies;
  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for preparing and maintaining security records;
  • Prepares and conducts security education classes and security audits;
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken;
  • Processes personnel clearances via National Background Investigations System (NBIS) and manages personnel clearances via Defense Industrial Security System (DISS);
  • Interfaces with government customers on security related issues;
  • Preparation, management, and interfacing with DCSA during audits;
  • Administers badging and access requirements for facilities;
  • Develops and provides security briefings to new employees and to cleared persons which include indoctrination, annual refresher, and foreign travel briefings;
  • Conducts debriefs with terminating employees in regards to their continuing responsibilities, terminates the security clearance of personnel who no longer require access.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required;
  • DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required at start;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential;                                                                                                                                                                                           
  • Expertise in process mapping, value stream mapping (VSM), business process reengineering (BPR), and dependency mapping is required;
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is required;
  • Ability to map clearance processes, visitor access, credentialing, and physical security workflows is required;
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills is essential for this role;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills is required; Must have the ability to work independently while managing multiple competing priorities is a must;
  • Experience working in a government security or intelligence environment is preferred;
  • Background in policy and regulation review, interpretation, and implementation is preferred;
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies is preferred;
  • Experience creating and optimizing enterprise system workflows is preferred;
  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and applying policies and regulations is preferred;
  • Familiarity with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts or tools such as Cameo to support structured process development is preferred.
