Overview

GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Unified Communications Engineer IV in Landover, MD to provide unified communIcations engineering support.

Responsibilities
  • Delivers Desktop Video Conferencing (DVTC), Conference Room Video Teleconference Communications (CVTC), desktop Voice Over Internet Protocol (DVOIP), Voicemail, and Enterprise Content;
  • Provides infrastructure support of Cisco DXSO's, 8800 Series Cisco phones, Cisco MX and SX Series Conference room equipment, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Telepresence, Cisco VBrick, Cisco Enterprise Content Delivery, and Unity Connect voicemail.
Qualifications
  • LEVEL IV: Bachelor's degree in a related field, with (8) to ten (10) years’ experience is required; OR Masters degree in a related field with six (60 to eight (8) years’ experience years of experience; OR PhD with three (3) to five (5) years’ experience;
  • Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE) at start;
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility at start;
  • Proven experience in Unified Communications Engineering is required;
  • Professional-level Cisco certifications are desired;
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification is desired.
