Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Program Integrator & Public Affairs Analyst to support the Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC), providing dual‑hatted support to both the G5 Public Affairs Office (PAO) and the G6 Business and Digital Transformation initiative. This matrixed role requires a professional who can blend enterprise level process integration with strategic communications expertise and policy analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional confidence to ask critical questions while thoughtfully challenging existing assumptions in order to advance organizational improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provides a strong understanding of Army Public Affairs and Strategic Communications processes, policies, and workflows, and actively supports PAO leadership in reviewing, refining, and aligning office processes with current Army guidance;
  • Helps leadership prioritize strategic requirements while ensuring transparency and consistent support to the broader PAO workforce, effectively bridging enterprise transformation goals with day‑to‑day operational needs;
  • Serves as a central enterprise integrator, ensuring cohesion, alignment, and operational effectiveness across multiple functional domains, while supporting the G6 transformation team in aligning and standardizing enterprise processes, data structures, and system workflows;
  • Exhibits strong collaboration skills, maintains composure under pressure, and consistently demonstrates a customer‑focused approach;
  • Possesses the ability to translate leadership intent into clear, actionable, and people‑centered processes that support both strategic objectives and effective daily operations;
  • A strong communicator with excellent organizational and time‑management skills, capable of managing competing deadlines and consistently delivering high‑quality work across both directorates.

​​​​​Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required;
  • DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required at start;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential;
  • Thorough knowledge of DoD and Army public affairs regulations is strongly required;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple competing priorities is required;
  • Expertise in process mapping, value stream mapping (VSM), business process reengineering (BPR), and dependency mapping is required;
  • Strong facilitation skills for strategic communication, approval workflows, and cross‑directorate planning sessions is required;
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communications governance structures is required;
  • Strong writing, editing, content development, and document‑review capability is required;
  • Ability to map strategic planning workflows, tasking flows, communication approval processes, and audit/compliance workflows is required;
  • Government staff experience is highly preferred;
  • Advanced SOP writing and documentation development experience is preferred;
  • Experience conducting policy and regulation review, analysis, and implementation is preferred;
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous‑process‑improvement methodology experience is preferred;
  • Experience developing enterprise workflows across public affairs, strategic communications, and digital transformation functions is preferred.
