Description
THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION - ESTIMATED 22 HOURS/WK.  2 OPENINGS AVAILABLE. 
We are looking for Front Office and Logistics Support personnel to serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and cleared personnel entering the facility. This role combines traditional front desk responsibilities with junior‑level logistics support, including receiving deliveries, maintaining logs, and coordinating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, an understanding of the importance of access control and secure handling procedures. As the first point of contact for both people and critical incoming materials, this position plays a key role in ensuring a secure, efficient, and professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greets and assists employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Verifies and checks badges for all cleared personnel in accordance with security protocols;
  • Maintains visitor logs, issues temporary badges, and ensures compliance with facility access requirements;
  • Answers and routes incoming calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently;
  • Accepts, signs for, and processes incoming deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and routing;
  • Maintains accurate records of shipments received and distributed;
  • Assists with internal logistics tasks such as coordinating courier pickups, staging materials, and communicating with internal departments;
  • Supports basic inventory tracking or supply management and the usage of scanners and other receiving tools;
  • Knowledge of barcode equipment and maintains inventory of barcodes;
  • Tracks requisitions from the date of purchase through delivery to the end user;
  • Manages front desk operations including scheduling, room bookings, and administrative tasks;
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and secure reception area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma is required at start;
  • Interest in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or other related fields, or experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, delivery processing, or other related functions is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance;
  • Ability to follow established procedures for handling classified or sensitive security protocols is preferred;
  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software is preferred;
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic data entry skills are required.
