Overview

GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Senior Digital Transformation Integrator in Huntsville, AL to provide embedded support to the Chief of Staff and Business Transformation office.  As the organization moves into an enterprise software environment and transitions toward a digital operating framework, the ideal candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration and internal ITPs to build and maintain an inventory of digital tasks and initiatives aligned with enterprise goals.  Strong time-management skills are required to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Captures and documents business processes and data structures to improve organizational efficiency;
  • Applies digital acquisition and engineering methodologies across programs to ensure alignment with mission and operational objectives;
  • Documents and evaluates internal processes and supports the development of digital solutions and process improvements that enhance program performance, data integration, and decision-making;
  • Contributes to enterprise digital and data strategy development and promotes consistency across cross-functional teams;
  • Supports the design and execution of change‑management activities that enable the successful adoption of transformation initiatives;
  • Collaborates with program leaders to embed digital and business transformation practices into workflows, documentation, and performance metrics.;
  • Conducts stakeholder IPTs and performs gap analyses to refine modernization plans, while staying current on digital trends to ensure strategies remain competitive and forward‑leaning;
  • Serves as an enterprise integrator by embedding acquisition, fiscal, and policy controls into standardized business processes;
  • Designs and evaluates certification gates, control structures, and compliance artifacts that reinforce effective governance;
  • Advises transformation leadership on regulatory risk, process standardization, and the impacts of cross-functional integration efforts;
  • Collaborates with G‑Staff and functional stakeholders to enhance enterprise visibility, improve operational consistency, and drive measurable gains in process performance.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree in computer science, mathematics or other relevant field, and at least ten (10) to twenty (20) years of experience; or MS/MA degree in computer science, mathematics or other relevant field is preferred;
  • Experience in PEO business process improvement is very beneficial;
  • DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance is required at start;
  • Experience with JIRA or ADO agile tools are preferred;
  • Strong soft skills are mandatory for this role.
